Azerbaijan to provide Pakistan with low-cost LNG
President Ilham expressed that they will work together with Pakistan to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Baku: Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev agreed to provide Pakistan with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at low cost every month, GNN reported.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Azerbaijan president during his two-day visit during which both countries agreed to enhance cooperation in energy, agriculture, transport, defense, investment, trade and other sectors.
Azerbaijan will invest in solar energy and defense sector of Pakistan. Prime minister said that Pakistan wants to mutually work with Azerbaijan in energy sector.
He also visited the presidential palace in Baku where he was presented with guard of honor.
In a joint presser, Shehbaz Sharif also told that they are starting direct flights from Baku to Islamabad. He also stated that we will increase the trade of rice with Azerbaijan, adding that “The country has always supported Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir”.
President Ilham expressed that they will work together with Pakistan to enhance bilateral cooperation.
