The application moved to Kohsar police station says Khan did not return home after leaving in the evening, and his mobile phone is currently switched off.

Islamabad: Azam Khan, the former principal secretary to a former prime minister, has been reported missing, as a formal application has been lodged at the Kohsar police station by his family.
According to the application, Khan did not return home after leaving in the evening, and his mobile phone is currently switched off. The nephew of Azam Khan filed the application, prompting an investigation by the Kohsar police station into the matter.
Earlier, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) had summoned Azam Khan over issues related to the dam fund. Consequently, the committee directed that his name be added to the Exit Control List (ECL) and ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Interior Ministry to prevent Khan from leaving the country through any airport.
During the PAC meeting, concerns were raised about the dam fund expenditures and the disparity between the amount spent and the funds collected. Member of the PAC, Barjees Tahir, revealed that Rs14 billion had been spent on dam fund advertisements, while only Rs9 billion had been collected. Another member, Mushahid Hussain Syed, called for an inquiry into the dam fund.
In addition to his disappearance, an alleged video conversation between Azam Khan and the former prime minister has been leaked.
The federal cabinet has also granted approval to initiate legal proceedings against Azam Khan and other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in relation to leaked audio recordings. The Federal Investigation Agency has been authorized to investigate the "diplomatic cipher" audio leaks, which allegedly involved discussions on manipulating the issue.
Furthermore, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Azam Khan in connection with a corruption case related to the Malam Jabba land scam.
Authorities are actively pursuing the case of Azam Khan's disappearance while continuing their investigations into the dam fund and audio leak controversies.
