Peshawar: The budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for four months will be presented today (Tuesday) in caretaker cabinet, GNN reported.
According to budget documents, it has been proposed to set the budget at Rs462.16 billion.
The proposed document said that it has been proposed to spend Rs112.11 billion on the ongoing development projects of the province.
Salaries of government employees from Grade 1 to 16 will be increased by 35%, whereas it has been proposed to increase the salaries of higher-grade employees by 30%.
The document stated that Rs1 billion has been proposed for the subsidy of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
It has also been proposed in the four-month budget to ban the purchase of any vehicle except emergency vehicles or ambulances.
