Pakistan has officially announced that the PM will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in a virtual capacity.


Islamabad: Pakistan has confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will virtually attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, following India's decision to change the meeting format without providing any reasons.
The summit, scheduled for July 4 in New Delhi, will be attended virtually by member countries, including Pakistan, Russia, and China.
Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that Pakistan had received an official invitation from Indian prime minister for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to participate in the virtual meeting of SCO Heads of State.
Pakistan will be represented at the summit, and the Foreign Office will announce further details regarding Pakistan's participation in the coming days.
