Judge Rao Abdul Jabbar passed the orders after hearing arguments of both sides, and absolved Nawaz Sharif of any charges related to the plot allotment reference.
This development marks a significant turn of events in the legal proceedings surrounding Nawaz Sharif's involvement in the plot allotment, providing him with exoneration from the allegations brought against him.
In response to the verdict, Nawaz Sharif's legal counsel asserted that the reference was constructed on the basis of ill intentions, highlighting that the former Prime Minister played no role in the allocation of the plots. Furthermore, the counsel argued that under the provisions of the new law, this particular case was not viable for further proceedings.
