Suspect in TikToker Ayesha's case claims to be a lifesaver
”Woman's attempt to save a life becomes a crime” accused arrested in TikToker Ayesha's case reveals statement in court.
Karachi: The suspect, Jabran, in the case of TikToker Ayesha's disappearance after leaving behind her lifeless body at Jinnah Hospital in Karachi, has made a statement in court, stating that his attempt to save the woman's life has turned into a crime.
The case was heard in the South Judicial Magistrate's Court in Karachi. After the completion of the physical remand, the accused Jabran was presented in court by the police.
Police informed the court that the suspect was apprehended with the help of CCTV footage from a private TV channel. The case has been registered at the Defense Police Station.
The accused Jabran informed the court that his attempt to save the woman who fell on the ground has turned into a crime.
After hearing Jabran's statement, the court sent him to judicial custody. The court has also requested a challan (charge sheet) from the investigating officer for the next hearing.
It should be noted that last month, during a prominent dance party at a bungalow in Karachi's Defense area, a girl died.
A boy and a girl brought her to Jinnah Hospital and fled after confirming her death.
The faces of the boy and the girl can be clearly seen in the footage from the emergency and parking areas.
According to initial investigations, the deceased girl was identified as Ayesha, who was known by the name Ayesha from Sheikhupura. She was residing in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi, after her marriage.
