A 40-year-old woman has tragically lost her life to Diarrhea in Sheedi Goth Malir.
Karachi: Sheedi Goth Malir, a neighborhood in Karachi, has witnessed a concerning outbreak of diarrhea, according to the Health Department of Sindh.
From June 28th to July 4th, a total of 259 cases of Diarrhea have been reported, with 256 individuals diagnosed with Diarrhea and three confirmed cases of Cholera.
The Health Department of Sindh has identified contaminated water as the primary cause of the spread of Diarrhea and Cholera in the area.
Samples of the contaminated water have been collected, confirming its harmful effects on public health.
In response to the situation, the Health Department has initiated a series of measures to provide medical facilities to the affected areas.
Since June 28th, efforts have been underway to ensure proper care and treatment for the patients.
Essential medications have been promptly delivered to the affected regions.
The Health Department of Sindh is actively working to contain the outbreak and prevent further cases of Diarrhea.
