PTI chairman was offered multiple election opportunities, says Pervez Khattak
The former defence minister hints at upcoming revelations regarding the PTI's electoral strategy, saying that it will surprise everyone.


Peshawar: Pervez Khattak, who formed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentarians, claimed on Monday that his former political party had missed multiple election opportunities.
Khattak revealed that the PTI chairman had declined election offers on several occasions, leaving many puzzled about the reasons behind these missed chances.
He hinted at an upcoming revelation regarding the PTI's electoral strategy, stating that it would surprise everyone.
Speaking at a gathering attended by like-minded MNAs and MPAs, Khattak announced the launch of a new political party. He emphasized that all decisions made by the party would prioritize national interests. The unveiling of the party's flag and manifesto is scheduled to take place soon.
Reflecting on his tenure as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Khattak highlighted the developmental projects initiated during his time, including the introduction of sahulat cards, the Swat Motorway, Peshawar BRT, and initiatives for forest preservation and road networks.
Expressing his commitment to democracy, Khattak stressed the importance of holding elections and urged political parties to pursue a democratic path instead of resorting to violence.
Earlier in the day, Pervez Khattak launched his new political party, named Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentarians, after being expelled from PTI last week due to his statements against the party chief. The new party comprises former PTI lawmakers, including Mahmood Khan, the former Chief Minister of KP, and 57 other former PTI members.
