The latest reports say that the yellow metal goes up by Rs1800 per tola in Pakistan.


Karachi: The prices of gold once again went up by Rs1800 per tola in the local markets of the country on Friday.
The data shared by All Pakistan Jems and Jewllers Association which showed that the total price of gold reached Rs2,22,900 in the local market. The data showed that the price of 10 carat gold reached Rs19, 11,000 after increase of Rs1542.
Meanwhile, the rate of per ounce gold in the international market is $1966 after decrease of $12.
It may be mentioned here that just a day before, the prices of the yellow metal witnessed decrease of Rs5300.
Earlier in the day, the local currency continued to lose its value against the US dollar in the interbank market.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the rupee depreciated against the US by 0.58 per cent. It showed that the rupee closed at 286.81 on Friday as compared to Thursday when it closed at 285.15.
