Tourist's car sweeps away in River Indus, Gilgit
The tourists were traveling from Skardu to Punjab.
Gilgit: A tourist's car was swept away in the River Indus, in the region of Sassi Haramosh, Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to rescue authorities, the car was carrying five individuals, and one body has been recovered from the incident site, while the search for four others is ongoing.
The tourists' car was en route from Skardu to Punjab.
Notably yesterday, there was a tragic incident of a landslide at the Shengus location in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan.
The rescue team responded promptly to the heartbreaking accident that occurred on the Jaglot-Skardu road.
Four individuals, including women and children, lost their lives, while one young man sustained severe injuries.
