District Police Officer (DPO) Bahawalpur has been summoned by the committee in the next meeting.


Bahawalpur: The National Assembly Standing Committee took notice of the issue of indecent photographs of female students being exposed by the Chief Security Officer of Islamia University Bahawalpur.
According to details, the meeting of the Standing Committee on Education of National Assembly was held today (Monday) where the committee expressed its annoyance over the absence of vice chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur in the meeting.
The committee directed to issue warrants to the vice chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur. District Police Officer (DPO) Bahawalpur has been summoned by the committee in the next meeting.
The chairman committee said that such incidents cannot be tolerated in higher education institutions, directing the chairman of Higher Education Commission (HEC) to monitor the entire matter.
