Anushay Nasir and Shawal Zulfiqar have been included in the squad while Diana Baig has also made a come back.


Lahore: Pakistan women's cricket team for Asian Games has been announced however Bisma Maruf has not been included in the squad.
Before the Asian Games, Pakistan Women's team will play a series against South Africa from September 1 to 14. However, the Asian Games will be played from September 19 to 26 in Hang Zhou city of China.
Anushay Nasir and Shawal Zulfiqar have been included in the squad while Diana Baig has also made a come back. Diana was out of international cricket this year after injuring her finger in the third One Day International (ODI) against Australia.
The squad includes captain Nida Dar, Alia Riaz, Anushay Nasir, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Muniba Ali, Najia Alvi, Nashera Sindhu, Natalia Parvez, Umeema Sohail, Sadaf Shams, Shawal Zulfikar, Sidra Amin, Aroob Shah and Umm Hani.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Bismah is not included in the squad as she is not allowed to have her children with the players under the rules of the prestigious Asian Games.
PCB said that it has accepted the decision of Ayesha Naseem's retirement.
