The body of the European tourist is transferred to Morgue in Quetta.


Quetta: The body of a European tourist, who was killed in a car collision while involved in smuggling activities, has been transferred to Quetta and placed in the morgue.
The Balochistan Home Department has written a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with the Portuguese Embassy for the repatriation of the deceased.
The Home Department has directed the Secretary of Health in Balochistan to take necessary measures to preserve the body until relatives or the embassy are reached.
It was reported that yesterday, the 28-year-old Portuguese tourist, Nuno Castanheira, was on a journey to Quetta from Iran, traveling through Chagai, when his car collided and resulted in his demise.
According to authorities, the collision occurred near the Mach area as Nuno Castanheira's motorcycle was hit by an Iranian-made Zambad vehicle.
He was immediately taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries without regaining consciousness.
