Lahore: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member and ex-provincial home minister Colonel (retd) Hashim Dogar has decided to join Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) on Monday.
The IPP President, Abdul Aleem Khan and the former minister met to discuss this at the former minister's residence in Lahore.
The meeting was also attended by IPP leaders including Nauman Ahmad Langrial, Awn Chaudhry, and Chaudhry Akhlaq Hussain.
Sources claim that Dogar will probably join the IPP, which will be formally revealed tomorrow.
Aleem Khan welcomed prominent people to the party and their participation.
He claimed that the nation's affairs had reached a crucial point and would offer workable solutions to the issues.
The IPP president stated that the five years were intentionally wasted and that the delay needed to be fixed.
In spite of his promises to ease the burden of power and gasoline, he said, the average person is only concerned with his own issues.
According to Aleem Khan, their party's top priorities include providing the young people in their country hope and doing action.
He declared that the IPP is a people's party and that it will work to improve Pakistan.
