Panama: Pilot's heart attack mid-flight on a plane carrying over 200 passengers resulted in tragedy.
The pilot collapsed in the bathroom due to a heart attack, and sadly, he couldn't survive.
According to international media reports, the 56-year-old pilot, Ivan Endor, from Latam Airlines, was piloting a flight with 271 passengers onboard, traveling from Miami to Panama.
About 40 minutes after takeoff, Ivan Endor, inquiring about the availability of a doctor among the passengers, signaled a grave situation.

Reports indicate that the plane landed at Panama's International Airport, where a nurse and doctor rushed onboard to assist the pilot.
Despite their efforts, Ivan Endor couldn't be saved, and it was later revealed that his death occurred due to a heart attack.
Throughout the incident, all passengers were accommodated in hotels in Panama, and the plane's operation was reinstated the following day.
