British-Pakistani woman found dead under mysterious circumstances at friend's house
Lahore: A British-Pakistani woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her friend's house in DHA Phase 5.

According to local media, the 25-year old Mahira Zulfiqar was in Pakistan from two months and was staying at her friend’s residence in the upper portion of the house.
Police sources revealed that her body was found by a domestic help who went to clean victim’s room. The initial investigation has revealed that the victim was strangled and shot and there have been no proofs of robbery.
The parents and siblings of Mahira are presently in London, while her grandmother lives in Pakistan.
After getting information, police and forensic teams reached the site and shifted dead body to nearby hospital for postpartum.
Police has registered case against four people including two of victim’s friends. The complainant has maintained in FIR that one of Mahira’s friends wanted to marry her.
An initial post-mortem report revealed that a bullet was fired near victim’s neck and scars have been found on her body.
