Shah Farman decides to abstain from participating in upcoming general elections
The former KP governor has opted to relinquish his constituency, entrusting it to the dedicated members of the PTI.

Peshawar: Shah Farman, a notable figure within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), on Saturday declared his decision to abstain from participating in the forthcoming general elections.
Shah Farman recently conveyed his resolution to not contest the upcoming elections, a choice that extends to his immediate family members, including sons and brothers.
In a significant move, Shah Farman opted to relinquish his constituency, entrusting it to the dedicated members of the PTI.
His decision carries the underlying message that he will not engage in the pursuit of political power through familial involvement, positioning him apart from those who intend to leverage family connections to establish political influence.
Addressing the matter, Shah Farman stated, "Certain individuals who are attempting to secure a political foothold for their families are actively conspiring against me
