The latest reports say that discussion on the prevailing political situation and upcoming elections is the part of the agenda.


Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday summoned the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting on August 25.
The meeting is due to start at 3:00 PM at Bilawal House.
The agenda of the meeting encompasses a comprehensive exchange of perspectives on the prevailing national political landscape. With various matters of national significance in focus, party members and key figures would engage in deliberations to analyze and discuss the current state of affairs within the country's political arena. The meeting would also discuss the upcoming general elections.
In a separate development, PPP leader Shazia Marri called on the party’s chairman. During the meeting, she informed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that a 25% increase was made in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP ) while additional 1.4 million households were made part of it.
She informed the chairman that the trans people were also included in the program for the first time. They also discussed the prevailing political situation in the country.
