The Jinnah House attack suspect's detention has been requested by the court in order to investigate.


Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore allowed the police to arrest and investigate former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who is currently serving his three-year term in Attock jail, in the Jinnah House attack case on Wednesday.
The motion for the arrest of the PTI chairman in the case was submitted to the court by DIG Investigation Lahore.
The Corp Commander House, popularly known as Jinnah House in Lahore, was damaged and set on fire on May 9 by an enraged mob protesting the PTI leader's imprisonment.
The DIG investigation said in his petition that Khan was sentenced by a court under the Election Act and is currently serving a sentence in Attock Jail and is also an accused in the Jinnah House attack case.
