Lahore: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested eight terrorists while conducting Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in different cities of Punjab.
According to CTD spokesman, two important commanders Kashan and Hassan of banned terrorist organization al-Qaeda have been arrested from Lahore.
He told that explosives, hand grenades, detonators and weapons have been recovered from the terrorists.
Cases have been registered against the terrorists and investigation has been launched. Officials told that 135 suspects have been arrested during 336 combing operations this week.
