ASF seizes drugs from Doha-bound passenger
The spokesperson told that the passenger had skillfully hid these packets containing heroin in the bottom of the bag.
Islamabad: Airport Security Force (ASF) recovered heroin and crystal ice from a passenger going to Doha while conducting an operation at the airport.
According to the spokesperson of ASF, the staff conducted an operation at the Islamabad Airport in which two packets filled with heroin and ice crystal white heroin were recovered from the luggage of a passenger bound for Doha, with a total quantity of 1.996 kg.
The spokesperson told that the passenger Tajzeer Khan had skillfully hid these packets containing heroin in the bottom of the bag. However, the ASF personnel showed great professionalism during the search of the goods and foiled the smuggling attempts by recovering the drugs.
He added that the accused has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for further legal action along with the recovered drugs after initial investigation.
