Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday canceled the sentence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran khan in Toshakhana case.
According to details, the chief justice of Islamabad high court Aamer Farooq pronounced the reserved verdict.
Justice Aamer Farooq said that written verdict is underway, the detailed verdict will be announced in a while.
Yesterday, IHC had reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of the parties on the petition of PTI Chairman Imran Khan's suspension of sentence.
The Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court delivered a brief judgment orally and accepted PTI chairman's request for suspension of sentence in the Toshakhana case.
The court ordered former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be released on bail.
The court told PTI's lawyers that the reasons for suspending the sentence will be given in the written judgment.
