Islamabad: The meeting of Federal Cabinet under the chairmanship of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar underway on Tuesday.
According to details, the monetization policy of free electricity for employees will be considered in the federal cabinet meeting. Power Division is briefing the provision of free units for existing and retired employees.
The meeting was informed during the briefing that officers and employees of Water and Power Division Authority (WAPDA), distribution companies, Juncos, NTDC and PITC get free units.
Proposals and recommendations for relief in household and commercial consumer bills are also part of the agenda.
On the other hand, the issue of amendment in NADRA Rules 2020 will also be presented in the cabinet for approval.
