Justice Shahid Karim heard petitions on smog control measures in the Lahore High Court.

Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has expressed dismay over not closing markets at 10 p.m. for smog control measures, directing the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore to appear before the court on Monday.
Justice Shahid Karim heard petitions on smog control measures.
The court was told in the petitions that markets should close at 10 p.m., but they remain open, which led the court to express its concern to the DC Lahore.
The petitioner's lawyer requested that working hours for home delivery staff should be specified, to which the court expressed readiness to issue instructions regarding the working hours for the said staff.
The court stated that the DC and the IG Operations will appear at 11:30 a.m., and the IG Punjab will also appear before the court on Monday.
