Lahore: Fromer Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan held another meeting with his legal team in Attock Jail, denying reports of any deal on Monday.
Details indicate that the PTI legal team, which included Shoaib Shaheen, Umair Niazi, and Naeem Haider Panjotha, met with the former prime minister in Attock jail today.
After the meeting, Naeem Haider Panjotha spoke to the media and reiterated that the only way to solve the nation's "economic disaster" was through "immediate and transparent elections."
He claimed that the PTI chairman had dismissed allegations of any deal.
The attorney added that a contempt petition had been filed against the Superintendent Jail and that if the court had not received the answer, action would be done.
In response to a query, he stated that they had been notified that a hearing for the "cipher case" will take place in the Attock Detention Facility on September 14.
