The JI’s protest outside the governor's house in Peshawar against soaring inflation enters its third day, with protestors steadfastly voicing their concerns.

Peshawar: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq expressed unwavering determination to tackle rising inflation, affirming that fear would not deter their resolve.
Sirajul Haq declared, “We will not back down, and our voices will forever advocate for our rights,”. He expressed these words while addressing a gathering in Peshawar on Wednesday.
The JI’s protest outside the governor's house in Peshawar against soaring inflation entered its third day, with protestors steadfastly voicing their concerns.
Haq stressed the need to protect not only the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also the entire 250 million population of the nation.
He lamented that for 76 years, Pakistan has not experienced a genuine Quranic system. Those in power often ascend through international support rather than genuine political means, earning them the label of "political terrorists."
The Jamaat-e-Islami chief criticized how economic disruptors have effectively taken the nation hostage. In contrast to India, where presidents and prime ministers lack foreign assets, politicians, judges, and generals in Pakistan possess overseas wealth. This exodus of wealth, fueled by the suffering of the nation's citizens, bolsters our adversaries and exacerbates our problems.
Siraj also lambasted corrupt individuals who respond to inquiries from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) with victory signs. Their shameless display of triumph in the face of corruption allegations is unparalleled worldwide, according to the JI Emir.
