Victim of sexual assault in a public hospital must receive first aid from a private hospital within 24 hours.

Islamabad: The Senate Standing Committee on Interior unanimously approved the Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2023 on Thursday.
The Senate Standing Committee on Interior met under the direction of Senator Mohsin Aziz.
The Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2023, which was submitted for approval during the meeting by Senator Samina Mumtaz Zahra, was accepted by all attendees.
Furthermore, If the law is passed, it would be feasible to treat sexual assault victims at a private hospital, and private hospitals will have to give sexual assault victims first assistance.
In addition, a victim of sexual assault in a public hospital must receive first aid from a private hospital within 24 hours.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said during the bill's debate that a public hanging should be performed in front of all the convicts in D-Chowk rather than in front of the general public in place of life in prison and the death sentence.
Senator Sherry Rahman responded by claiming that even in civilizations where such public killings have occurred, crime has not decreased and that such executions will be cruel.
