Earlier, in Hockey event of the 19 Asian Games at Hangzhou, Pakistan beat Uzbekistan by eighteen-two goals in the Preliminary Pool-A match.
For Pakistan Ahmed Arbaz scored 5, Rana Abdul Waheed Arshad and Afraz scored three goals each while Muhammad Umar Bhutta and Abdur Rehman scored two goals each.
In Squash, Pakistan's Muhammad Asim Khan defeated Al-Mezayen Abdullah of Kuwait in thee-straight sets 11/9, 11/7, and 11/9.
