Hearing on Bushra Bibi's plea seeking husband’s security adjourned
Chief Justice IHC remarked: “I will give an order based on the capacity and what the court can do”.
Islamabad: The hearing on Bushra Bibi's petition for security and protection of her husband and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in jail has been adjourned till next week.
According to details, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard Bushra Bibi's appeal.
Bushra Bibi's lawyer Latif Khosa pleaded with the court to allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to have home-cooked meals, as he can hardly even offer prayers in the cell where he has been kept.
Lawyer Latif Khosa further said that it has been our history that whoever becomes president or prime minister later becomes a guest of Adiala and Attock jail.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice Islamabad High Court remarked: “I will give an order based on the capacity and what the court can do”.
Later, the court issued a notice to the parties and adjourned the further hearing of the case till next week.
