It is not clear whether the proceedings of the meeting will be shown on the media or not.

New York: Another meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will be held today (Thursday).
The Israeli media quoted a diplomat as saying that it is not clear whether the proceedings of the meeting will be shown on the media or not.
It is pertinent to note that a closed-door meeting of the 15-member United Nations Security Council was held on Sunday, a day after the attacks by Hamas on Israel. In the meeting, serious differences emerged among the members, after which the closed-door emergency meeting ended without results.
Neither a formal resolution could be presented in the meeting nor could even a joint declaration or statement be issued.
According to the news agency, during the meeting, the United States urged the member states to condemn Hamas’ attack on Israel. However, despite US and Israeli demands and pressure, many members did not condemn Hamas’ attacks.
The United States expressed regret over the lack of consensus in the Security Council meeting on the issue of Hamas’ attack on Israel, while Russia did not agree with the other member countries of the Security Council.
During the meeting, the Russian ambassador stressed on immediate ceasefire and meaningful negotiations, saying that Security Council should implement the agreement reached decades ago regarding Palestine.
During the meeting, the Chinese ambassador said that it is unusual that the Security Council did not say anything but condemned all the attacks against civilians.
