It has also been reported that many flights of PIA abroad are delayed due to lack of fuel.


Lahore: Fuel crisis or administrative problems, eight flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) are still canceled and delayed. 9:44
According to media reports, PIA flights PK 501 and PK 502 from Karachi to Turbat have been cancelled.
Other canceled flights include Karachi to Lahore flight PK 302 and Lahore to Karachi PK 303, Karachi to Quetta flight PK 310 and return PK 311, Karachi to Islamabad PK 368 and return PK 369.
It has also been reported that many flights of PIA abroad are delayed due to lack of fuel.
Flight PK 247 from Lahore to Dammam is expected to be delayed for eight hours while flight PK 208 from Dubai to Karachi is expected to be delayed for seven hours, reports told.
Apart from this, the departure of flight PK 725 from Lahore to Riyadh is expected to be delayed by 9:25 hours and the arrival of flight PK 742 to Jeddah Islamabad by 1.5 hours.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has stopped the supply of fuel to the planes of national airline PIA due to non-payment of daily payments.
PIA owes Rs26 billion to PSO, Rs20 million has been paid for fuel supply, after which flights on important routes started getting fuel.
