May 9 Cases: Interim bail of Asad Umar, Imran’s sisters extended
The court summoned the lawyers for the final discussion on the next hearing.
Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Monday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar and sisters of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
According to details, Judge Arshad Javed of ATC Lahore held a hearing on the interim bails of PTI chairman's sisters and others including Asad Umar in the cases filed on May 9 where Asad Umar appeared in the court.
During the hearing, the police did not submit the record in the court.
Lawyer of Asad Umar said: “We have been involved in the investigation, just let us know what they work have done after we have been involved in the investigation”.
The public prosecutor added that the investigating officer had suffered a heart attack and therefore could not produce the records.
Asad Umar's lawyer stated that these people are giving heart attack to everyone, they should be made to submit the mandatory records on the next date.
The court summoned the lawyers for the final discussion on the next hearing.
Later, the court extended the interim bails of Asad Umar and PTI chairman's sisters and others till October 31.
