Islamabad: Imports of smart mobile phones, vehicles and tea have increased in the country.
According to the report, the import of smartphones has increased by 90% from July to September. Phones worth 304 million dollars were imported in three months of the current financial year, while phones worth 160 million dollars were imported in the same period last year.
The report told that vehicles worth 232.4 million dollars were imported in three months from July to September with an increase of 123%.
According to the report, the import of tea increased by 22% and recorded 165.4 million dollars. In the first quarter of last year, tea worth 135.2 million dollars was imported.
