Significant amounts of local and foreign currencies were also seized from the individuals.

Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has successfully apprehended three individuals believed to be part of the notorious handi gang during a meticulously executed operation in Karachi.
The crackdown has not only led to the arrest of the suspects but also the recovery of substantial amounts of local and foreign currency.
As per the FIA spokesperson, the State Banking Circle in Karachi initiated a targeted operation on the bustling MA Jinnah Road.
The objective was to root out the clandestine activities of the Handi Gang, a notorious network involved in illegal currency exchange and associated illicit practices.
The operation culminated in the arrest of three key suspects, namely Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Hasnain, and Abdul Rasheed.
These individuals are believed to have played significant roles in the activities of the Handi gang, which has long been under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies.
FIA uncovered an extensive cache of currency during the operation, valued at more than 9 crore rupees.
The seized funds included 8.8 million Pakistani rupees, 32,700 US dollars, 15,000 Saudi riyals, and 800 UAE dirhams.
This substantial sum points to the extensive nature of the illicit financial operations carried out by the Handi gang.
Further investigations have revealed that the arrested individuals were engaged in unlicensed currency exchange activities, a practice fraught with legal and financial implications.
In addition to the substantial currency haul, the FIA also discovered mobile phones and messages related to the handi reference, further corroborating the suspects' involvement in the illicit trade.
