The MD of Bharti Company cited moral reasons for the decision to cease uniform supplies to the Israeli police.

New Delhi: An Indian company has halted its supply of uniforms to the Israeli police force.
This move comes in the wake of international outrage following the bombing of Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza, which resulted in the tragic loss of over 500 Palestinian lives.
According to reports in the Indian media, the decision to terminate the uniform supply agreement was made as a direct response to the devastating attack on Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza.
The MD of the Indian company, in a video statement, affirmed that the choice to cease outfitting the Israeli police was grounded in moral principles, echoing widespread sentiments that the bombing of hospitals and the loss of innocent lives is simply unacceptable.
Furthermore, the company stressed its firm stance against the inhumane practice of withholding food and water supplies from the 2.5 million people residing in Gaza, underscoring the importance of preserving basic humanitarian values.
Media reports have shed light on the fact that the Kerala-based company has been consistently producing an annual quota of 100,000 Israeli police uniforms since 2015.
