Anti-terrorism court extended the judicial remand of PTI leader and former Punjab governor Umer Sarfraz Cheema and 153 others.
Lahore: An anti-terrorism court on Saturday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Punjab governor Umer Sarfraz Cheema and 153 others till November 11 in Jinnah House attack case.
ATC judge Abhar Gul Khan took up the case. During the proceedings, the police produced several individuals, including Mian Mahmood al-Rashid and Omar Sarfraz Cheema, before the court after completion of their judicial remand. However, one of the co-accused, Ijaz Chaudhry, could not be presented due to health issues.
The court granted the police's request for an extension of judicial remand for all of the defendants until November 11 after they prayed to it.
It should be mentioned that the Sarwar Road police had already filed a complaint against the parties concerned.
