Court completed the proceedings and ordered to send him to jail on 14-day judicial remand.


Lahore: The local court of Lahore Tuesday sent former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi to jail on 14-day judicial remand in the Punjab Assembly recruitment case.
According to details, after completing the two-day physical remand, Anti-Corruption presented Parvez Elahi in the court of Duty Magistrate Amir Raza, where the anti-corruption lawyer pleaded for his physical remand for another 10 days, saying that Parvez Elahi's mobile phone is still missing which has to be sent for forensic.
In the court, Parvez Elahi's lawyer said that his client being targeted for political revenge. On which the court completed the proceedings and ordered to send him to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
On the other hand, in an informal conversation with the media, Parvez Elahi said that in what capacity the caretaker provincial government can approve the budget? Didn't the Chief Election Commissioner stopped them from approving the budget?
