Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will make the final decision.

Lahore: The decision to reduce the petroleum prices or maintain the old ones is likely to be made today.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar will make the final decision.
According to reliable sources, the oil companies and dealers' profits are probably going to rise.
It should be mentioned that reports regarding the decline in the price of petroleum products have been making headlines for a number of days.
The price of petrol is expected to drop by Rs. 15 to Rs. 20 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel is expected to reduce by Rs. 10 to Rs. 16 per litre.
Kerosene and light diesel oil prices will probably also be drastically reduced.
The preliminary draft of petroleum product prices has been prepared by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
It was previously announced that on October 31, 2023, the Petroleum Division would receive the final report of the petroleum product price reduction.
The summaries will be revised by the ministries of finance and petroleum, then forwarded to the interim prime minister for final pricing determination.
