Working hours of lower courts in Punjab changed from Nov 1
All relevant authorities and institutions have received copies of the notification on the change in court operating hours.
Lahore: The lower courts (civil and session courts) have modified their operating hours as of November 1st in accordance with the arrival of the winter season.
The Chief Justice (CJ) of the Lahore High Court (LHC) issued a notification in this regard about two weeks ago.
The notification regarding the new working hours of the lower courts would be applicable from November 1 to March 31, 2022.
According to the notification, from November 1, the civil and session courts would be open from 9 a.m. to 4 pm from Monday to Saturday except Friday.
The work will begin on Friday at 9 am and last until 12 pm. The Lahore High Court and other Punjab subordinate courts are taking these orders into effect.
Lunch and prayer breaks would be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday.
All relevant authorities and institutions have received copies of the notification on the change in court operating hours.
