Zaka Ashraf reacts to Imad Wasim's retirement
Responding to Imad Wasim's retirement, Zaka Ashraf praised the former cricketer's services to Pakistan saying that he will be missed.
Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf expressed his reaction to Imad Wasim's retirement from international cricket.
According to the details, Imad Wasim Friday turned to social media and announced his retirement from international cricket. He thanked PCB and his fans saying that after much thought process, he decided that this is the right time to retire from international cricket.
Responding to Imad Wasim's retirement, Zaka Ashraf praised the former cricketer's services to Pakistan saying that he will be missed.
Zaka Ashraf said that Imad Wasim's performance in white ball cricket has been key to the team's victory, ‘But I respect his decision and thank you for your service to Pakistan on behalf of the PCB Management Committee. Best wishes for your bright future’.
He debuted in international cricket in 2015, the 34-year-old cricketer represented Pakistan in 55 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 66 T20 matches, scoring 109 wickets and 1472 runs in international cricket.
Imad was part of the team that won the 2017 Champions Trophy. He played T20 World Cup in 2016, 50 Over World Cup in 2019 and T20 World Cup in 2021.
