Zardari forms committee to hold dialogue with political parties head of elections
The latest reports say that the committee, as per a PPPP notification, will include members from all four provinces.


Karachi: Under the leadership of former President Asif Ali Zardari, the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) has initiated efforts to engage with political parties and individuals through a committee formed for pre and post-general election dialogues, scheduled for February 8 next year.
The committee, as per a PPPP notification, will include members from all four provinces. From Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Secretary General PPP Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Secretary Information PPP Faisal Karim Kundi, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, and Sajid Toori have been appointed to represent the committee.
Sindh members include Saeed Ghani and Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, while Chengez Khan Jamali, Rozi Khan Kakar, and Sabir Ali Baloch will participate from Balochistan.
Secretary Information PPP Kundi confirmed the formation of the committee, emphasizing its role in conducting dialogue with political entities and individuals as part of a well-planned strategy.
Asif Ali Zardari, the PPP co-chairman, is known for his conciliatory approach to politics and has consistently advocated for coalition governments for the country's betterment. He has ruled out the possibility of a single-party government and, in a recent interview on a news program, stated that the formation of the government doesn't necessarily have to be led by Nawaz Sharif.
Zardari expressed the belief that various political groups and individuals could play crucial roles in government formation.
During the interview, Zardari spoke about the experience of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led coalition government, expressing admiration for former Prime Minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif.
However, he noted the challenges faced during their unity government, highlighting that his proposals were not accepted by Shehbaz Sharif, leading to losses for the country.
Despite the difficulties, Zardari expressed his reluctance to pressure the former PM, acknowledging the PML-N's larger representation in parliament.
