Nasrat Sehar Abbasi announces to quit politics

Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League Functional leader Nasrat Sehar Abbasi has officially announced her retirement from active politics.
She was a known political figure for her consecutive successes in securing a reserved seat for women in the Sindh Assembly.
Having served as a member of the Sindh Assembly for three consecutive terms from 2002 to 2018 under the banner of the Muslim League Functional, Nasrat Sehar Abbasi has consistently been the leading woman participant in the assembly's proceedings.
Acknowledging her influential role in the opposition, where she actively addressed public concerns, exposed corruption, highlighted fake appointments, and advocated for women's issues, Nasrat Sehar Abbasi expressed gratitude for the opportunities to serve in the Sindh Assembly.
