Shahid Orakzi, the appellant, contends that the former prime minister is allegedly the mastermind behind an attack on the Supreme Court, orchestrated by his supporters.

Kasur: A formal appeal was lodged on Tuesday challenging the acceptance of Shehbaz Sharif's nomination papers for the NA-132 constituency in Kasur.
The appellant, Shahid Orakzi, contended that the former prime minister was allegedly the mastermind behind an attack on the Supreme Court, orchestrated by his supporters.
The appeal was filed with the election tribunal, urging it to prohibit Shehbaz Sharif from participating in the upcoming elections and declaring the decision of the Return Officer as null and void.
In a broader context, the acceptance of nomination papers for several prominent political figures, including PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq, and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani was confirmed.
Nawaz Sharif's nomination papers for Lahore's NA-130 constituency were among those accepted.
In Kasur’s NA-132 constituency, the nomination papers of 26 candidates, including Shehbaz Sharif, have been approved.
