The latest reports say that Faisal Sabzwari, the MQM-P senior leader, has confirmed the development.

Karachi: In a major development, former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Karachi and founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Najeeb Haroon, officially announced his decision to join the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Saturday.
The announcement came following a meeting between Najeeb Haroon and key leaders of MQM-Pakistan, including party convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar, and Mustafa Kamal. The move underscored a notable shift in political alliances ahead of the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8.
MQM-Pakistan's senior leader, Faisal Sabzwari, confirmed the development through his official social media account, highlighting the significance of Najeeb Haroon's inclusion in the party.
The development follows a trend of political realignments in the region, as on Friday, leaders of MQM-Pakistan, Raza Haroon, and Anees Advocate, made headlines by joining the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
