Lahore: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo and former three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Monday.
The meeting focused on the exchange of views on mutual interests.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif were also present there during the meeting.
Taking to X, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott also confirmed meetings with various political parties and their leaders.
Currently spending time in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad meeting all the main political parties. Continuation of fundamental economic reform is essential. Inclusive elections on 8th February are vital for Pakistan’s future.

Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of strong relations between both Pakistan and the United Kingdom, saying that such ties are in the best interests of both the nations. He acknowledged the significant role played by Pakistani citizens in the UK in strengthening the friendship between both the countries.
They also discussed the need to promote relations in various sectors, including trade and investment, between Pakistan and the UK.
