Islamabad: After the former prime minister of Pakistan and the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s article published in British newspaper ‘The Economist’ results in an outcry for other parties, Khan said that he had decreed the column.
In the courtroom of Adiala jail having some media reporters, Imran Khan said: “I am completely responsible for the article issued in ‘The Economist’. I had dictated the column. Next week my party will share a new discourse on social media”.
He was asked by a reporter that your new discourse would be in which form, he replied: “Today is the age of artificial intelligence,” adding that although the participation in general election 2024 for his party is quite difficult but the countrywide polls should be on time because elections are very essential for the state’s economy and the political permanence.
Khan further stated that he is under the charge of an inquiry against the May 9 event which is a plot against them. Who purloin the CCTV footage of my arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the attack on General Headquarters (GHQ) and Corps Commander’s House? Find the CCTV footage, burglars and all will be disclosed.
In a conversation caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi stated that Adiala jail lies with the Punjab government’s authority and the provincial should be looking into this matter.
Solangi further called this published article in ‘The Economist’ as a ghost article. He added that the federal authority will inquire with The Economist that if Khan sent an article following the legal process and the jail manual and then it was published. Khan has not written any kind of article according to my knowledge. However, the investigation is going on and we will write a letter to the Economist in no time.
