Imran Khan to run from Pakistan like Musharraf, Shaukat Aziz, claims Bilawal
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed that Imran Khan will leave the stories of economic devastation and go out of the country like former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and former President Pervez Musharraf.

Addressing a press conference, the PPP leader alleged that the prime minister is "leading the country towards destruction in pursuit of Musharraf's goal."
Bilawal Bhutto said that the poverty rate was 50% during the rule of Imran Khan's benefactor dictator Pervez Musharraf. “Imran Khan is leading the country to destruction in pursuit of Musharraf's goal.”
"Imran Khan's crime is not only inflation but also patronising the mafia that is causing inflation in the country," Bilawal said while lashing out, adding that the premier is accusing others but he should "take a look at his deeds first".
He said that huge loans are being taken from abroad on strict terms meanwhile Imran Khan's cabinet is wasting money from the national exchequer in corruption.
Earlier, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party said that the PTI-led federal government has a unique talent in being shameless when it boldly and brazenly misleads the people.
"Mr prime minister, surely you hold vast experience in collecting donations. However, countries do not run on donations alone," said the PPP chairperson.
The Federal Government has, since its first day in office, been fudging numbers and stacking statistics in their favour.
“Fudging economic figures may feed the large egos in the government, but it doesn’t feed the people. These alleged facts and figures are tantamount to gaslighting the lived experience of the people who are being crushed under the economic failures of Imran Khan.”
The Chairman PPP went on to say that since the PTI formed government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa nearly a decade ago, poverty levels have increased exponentially, with figures showing that poverty has gone up by 8.9% to a whopping 27% today.
In contrast, under the PPP the province of Sindh has managed to slash the poverty rate by 7.6 per cent. The PPP government in Sindh has also overseen Sindh's rise in per capita income, with the province now leading in both rural and urban figures, he pointed out.
“Despite soul-crushing inflation and rapidly increasing poverty levels, the PTI-led federal government is preparing to levy taxes on the pensions of the retired employees.”
The Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP was determined to protect the rights of pensioners and that it rejects any scheme that would seek to tax them. The proposed ten per cent tax on pensions in the next budget would only push people further to the brink.
The powers that foisted an incredibly inept government and Prime Minister on the country have done a great disservice to the country and its future, he added.
