Lahore: The Punjab government has decided in principle to set up a state-of-the-art International Expo Center in the province.

According to details, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade and Investment Razzaq Dawood called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at the Chief Minister House, Lahore.

In the meeting, Punjab CM Buzdar agreed to promote cooperative agricultural farming in Punjab and cotton and decided to give economic incentives to farmers for cash crops.
The meeting also decided to take all necessary steps to achieve luxury-free cotton and considered the proposal to set up a plug and play centre in Multan for the stitching industry.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Punjab would be made a model region in terms of cotton production, adding that an increase in cotton production would boost the textile industry and other industries.
Usman Bazdar said that they would do everything possible for the development of agriculture and industry and we're working to make Punjab a model province in terms of agriculture and industry.
Talking on the occasion, Advisor to the Prime Minister Abdul Razzaq Dawood said that the performance of Punjab was improving and the steps taken by the Punjab government for the promotion of industry and trade were commendable.
