Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Ali Gauhar had to leave the court immediately on Saturday as he said that some people have entered his house and tortured his son and nephew.
The hearing regarding the election symbol of PTI was going on in the Supreme Court during which Barrister Gohar and other PTI leaders and lawyers were present.
Around 2:30pm Barrister Gauhar said that some people entered his house and tortured his son and nephew.
Barrister Gohar first apprised Barrister Ali Zafar of the situation and then informed the court.
He said: “I have just received the news that some unidentified people riding four four-wheeler vehicles came to my residence and tortured my nephew and son. They took away the computer and important documents”.
Barrister Ali Zafar continued the arguments.
Addressing the government lawyers, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa addressed the Additional Attorney General that this should not happen if this is happening.
After some time, Barrister Gauhar returned to the court.
The Chief Justice inquired, "Is everything fine, Mr. Gohar?"
Barrister Gauhar said that four open cabin vehicles came to my house, the situation is serious.
The Chief Justice again directed the Additional Attorney General to look into the matter.
Barrister Gauhar was barred from speaking in court during the hearing of the case on the matter.
