Govt to take strict action against judiciary defamers on social media
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has also been directed in this regard to collect the information of those who spread hateful content.
Islamaabd: The government has decided to take strict action against those who defame the judiciary on social media. The officers of the sensitive institutions submitted the 'Plan of Action' to the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) chief in this regard.
According to the details, a meeting of the JIT to prevent anti-judiciary hate content was held at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) headquarters in Islamabad.
In the JIT meeting chaired by Additional Director General FIA, it was decided that strict action will be taken against those who defame the judiciary.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has also been directed in this regard to collect the information of those who spread hateful content.
Those spreading anti-judiciary content are expected to be arrested in the next phase with instructions to get all the details of those uploading and sharing the content.
